Apt #31 is the study of social norms, which challenges all parties involved, the dwellers, and the viewers. It is an invitation to come to ones own understanding- beyond our perception of social normality and comfort levels. I present a portrait of a family by documenting the interaction in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. The furniture, household items, and clothes cover almost every inch of the apartment with little room to spare. I am non-judgmental while being present. I only wish to illustrate a strong sense of intimacy and affection.
